Pokud bychom sestavili p\u0159\u00ed\u010dku nejpou\u017e\u00edvan\u011bj\u0161\u00edch plast\u016f sou\u010dasn\u00e9 doby, pak by se PVC um\u00edstil na kr\u00e1sn\u00e9m t\u0159et\u00edm m\u00edst\u011b. P\u0159edb\u011bhl by ho jen polyetylen a polypropylen. Velk\u00e9 roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00ed tohoto materi\u00e1lu je z d\u016fvodu nejen snadn\u00e9 a levn\u00e9 v\u00fdroby, ale i univerz\u00e1ln\u00edho vyu\u017eit\u00ed. Je mo\u017en\u00e9 se s n\u00edm setkat jak v m\u011bkk\u00e9 podob\u011b (nap\u0159\u00edklad ochrann\u00e9 rukavice) anebo v podob\u011b nem\u011bk\u010den\u00e9 (r\u016fzn\u00e9 trubky na kanalizace). Velkou v\u00fdhodou tohoto materi\u00e1lu je jeho vysok\u00e1 odolnost v\u016f\u010di chemick\u00fdm l\u00e1tk\u00e1m i p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edm vliv\u016fm. Proto vlastnost\u00ed PVC vyu\u017eili i v\u00fdrobci baz\u00e9nov\u00fdch technologi\u00ed.V tomto p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b se nab\u00edz\u00ed je\u0161t\u011b jedna velk\u00e1 v\u00fdhoda. Ve vodn\u00edm prost\u0159ed\u00ed tento materi\u00e1l oproti kov\u016fm nekoroduje a nen\u00ed h\u00e1kliv\u00fd ani na baz\u00e9novou chemii. Vyhovuje po v\u0161ech str\u00e1nk\u00e1ch Nem\u011bk\u010den\u00fd polyvinylchlorid se tedy vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 na v\u00fdrobu plastov\u00fdch rozvod\u016f (umo\u017e\u0148uj\u00ed snadnou mont\u00e1\u017e i demont\u00e1\u017e s mo\u017enost\u00ed dilatace), tvarovek (z\u00e1tek) a tak\u00e9 dal\u0161\u00edch sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed potrubn\u00edho syst\u00e9mu. Polo ohebn\u00e9 PVC najdeme u baz\u00e9nov\u00e9 Flexi hadice, kter\u00e1 se vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 jako alternativn\u00ed \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed p\u0159i instalaci trubn\u00edch syst\u00e9m\u016f rozvod\u016f pitn\u00fdch baz\u00e9nov\u00fdch, z\u00e1vlahov\u00fdch nebo odpadn\u00edch vod. Je to sice \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed alternativn\u00ed, ale v mnoha ohledech je na lep\u0161\u00ed \u00farovni. D\u00edky tomu, \u017ee je uveden\u00e1 hadice flexibiln\u00ed, spojuj\u00ed se v n\u00ed vlastnosti odoln\u00e9 trubky i n\u011bkter\u00fdch tvarovek (kolena). M\u016f\u017ee se tak v potrubn\u00edch syst\u00e9mech pln\u011b uplatnit a nahradit ostatn\u00ed materi\u00e1l. V t\u011bchto syst\u00e9mech se ide\u00e1ln\u011b uplatnily trubky z nem\u011bk\u010den\u00e9ho \u0161edo\u010dern\u00e9ho polyvinylchloridu, kter\u00e9 tvo\u0159\u00ed z\u00e1kladn\u00ed technologick\u00fd d\u00edl p\u0159i v\u00fdstavb\u011b ve\u0161ker\u00fdch rozvod\u016f, v\u010detn\u011b zahradn\u00edch zavla\u017eovac\u00edch syst\u00e9m\u016f.
